Installation

Note: You first need to compile and install KDE 4 from source using the KDE 4 Build Tutorial.

To install KSystemLog, extract the current release archive in your home and do the following commands :

tar jxf ksystemlog-0.4.1.tar.bz2
cd ksystemlog-0.4.1 
cs # Command described in the .bashrc of KDE 4 scripts
cmakekde .

Note: cmakekde is equivalent to cmake && make && makeinstall.

If everything is okay, you should be able to launch KSystemLog in your current KDE 4 installation directory, using :

$KDEDIR/bin/ksystemlog
